Welsh Liberal Democrat AM for Brecon and Radnorshire, Kirsty Williams, has attended the launch of a new support group for those with leg-related health problems.
The 'Leg Club' in Llandrindod Wells has been instituted by local community nurses, and offers treatment and information in a non-medical setting to people with leg wounds and circulatory problems.

Ms Williams said: "I was delighted to attend the official launch of the Llandrindod club, and wish them every success for the future. The group has gone from strength the strength since it opened in September -they are up to nearly 50 members now - and I understand it is one of only two such clubs in the whole of Wales. I was extremely impressed by the hard-working nurses, and by the successful fundraising efforts which have enabled the club to be formed. The group is clearly valued by its members, and I hope it is soon able to obtain the secure funding it needs to establish itself as a permanent fixture in the community."
