Brecon & Radnorshire's AM Kirsty Williams and MP Roger Williams called in to Ysgol Penmaes in Brecon today (Friday) to say a big thank you to the school, and pupil Hannah Charnley in particular, for designing the joint Christmas card they will be sending out this Festive season.
Presenting Hannah with a small token of their gratitude and some new decorative balls for the school Christmas tree, the politicians expressed their delight about their Christmas card and the work that went in to creating it.
" We really did not give the school much time to prepare this card," said Roger Williams. " So it is a real credit to the school and Hannah that such a beautiful card was produced. We are really very grateful and it will be a real pleasure to send it out over the coming weeks."
Kirsty Williams added:
" I am sure that everybody would support our asking Ysgol Penmaes to design our Christmas card and, as usual, the quality of the work produced is fantastic. Roger and I are frequent visitors to the school and we have come to expect nothing less from the pupils at Ysgol Penmaes. Hannah has done a wonderful job for us and we cannot thank her enough."
