Kirsty Williams AM for Brecon & Radnorshire has welcomed the decision of Chris Gledhill, Chief Executive of Brecon Beacons National Park, to resign.
Commenting Kirsty said:" I am glad that the uncertain position of the National Park's Leadership has now come to an end.
"The park's Management has been under great scrutiny for some time, particularly following the damning Gilestone report, and I am pleased that we now have some forward movement.
"The new Chief Executive will be faced with a difficult task but I hope that a fresh perspective will put them in a good position to make the necessary changes."
