Kirsty Williams, AM for Brecon and Radnorshire is calling on local farmers "to stay vigilant" after two incidents of machinery theft in as many weeks.
On the 25th May more than £40,000 worth of farm machinery was stolen from Hundred House, near Builth Wells and on Saturday 6th June another south Powys farm suffered large machinery thefts.
Kirsty said: "It is important that all farmers in the area are particularly vigilant following this second theft; both in guarding their own machinery but also in keeping an eye out for the appearance of the missing Massey Ferguson tractors, muck spreader and disc mower.
"If you have any information please do call the police on 101 to give them any assistance in resolving these two cases.
"I have written to Dyfed Powys police stressing the importance of doing all they can to both catch the perpetrators and to ensure that there are no further incidents."
