Kirsty welcomes award nomination for Powys Local Health Board

Kirsty Williams AM for Brecon and Radnorshire has welcomed the nomination of Powys Local Health Board for an NHS Wales Award 2010.

Powys teaching Health Board (tHB) is celebrating after being shortlisted in this year's prestigious NHS Wales Awards 2010. The awards recognise best practice and achievement in healthcare across NHS Wales and the winners will be announced on Friday July 2, 2010.

Kirsty Williams said: "I am delighted that Powys Local Health Board has been nominated for an award, it goes to show the great strides the LHB is making in improving the way it works to provide better and better care for local people. I wish them the best of luck"
