Almost everyone who took an A-Level in Powys passed (98 per cent). The results for 2010 are slightly lower than in 2009, mirroring the all Wales trend but Powys results are once again significantly higher than those for Wales and England.

The number of WJEC A-Levels taken in Powys schools has fallen slightly from 1291 to 1274 in 2010 which represents a decrease of just one per cent. In 2009, WJEC entries represented approximately 70 per cent of the total A-Level entries in Powys.
