Kirsty congratulates students on GCSE results

Kirsty Williams AM for Brecon and Radnorshire has congratulated students for their excellent GCSE results.

Kirsty Williams said: After the success of our A-Level students last week, Powys GCSE students have also proven their academic abilities, with some 69% achieving A* - C grades, higher than the Welsh Average 66.4%. I want to wish every student the very best for their plans for the future, whatever they chose to do.

If you didn't get the grades you were hoping for, or you aren't sure what to do next, help is at hand from either your teachers at school, or from Careers Wales, who you can call for free from a landline on 0800 183 0283.
